To maintain full transparency and comply with standard e-commerce and consumer protection regulations, we have drafted this Comprehensive Cancellation Policy.

Because our inventory consists of a unique mix of instantly delivered digital goods, rapidly dispatched physical books, and highly personalized custom artworks, the rules for cancellation vary drastically depending on exactly what you have ordered. Please read the specific category rules below carefully before submitting a cancellation request.

2. Digital Products and Downloads

2.1 The Zero-Cancellation Rule for Digital Goods

Due to the intrinsic nature of digital goods, orders for products such as PDF government application forms, solved IGNOU assignments (DECE, etc.), previous year question banks, and digital e-books are subject to a strict Zero-Cancellation Policy.

When you purchase a digital product via our secure Razorpay gateway, our automated system instantly provisions access to the file. Once the digital file has been generated and the download link sent to your screen or email inbox, the transaction is considered fully consummated. Because it is technologically impossible for you to "return" a copied digital file, we cannot accept any cancellation requests for digital orders after the payment is successfully processed.

2.2 Pre-Payment Verification

We strongly advise all customers to double-check their shopping carts before proceeding to payment. Ensure you are buying the correct medium (Hindi vs. English) and the correct subject code. Mistakes made during selection cannot be rectified via cancellation once the digital file is delivered.

3. Physical Products (Books and Stationary)

3.1 The 24-Hour Cancellation Window

If you have ordered physical goods—such as standard educational books, REET guides, or bulk blank ration card booklets—you are entitled to request a cancellation within 24 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not yet entered the dispatch phase.

3.2 Dispatch Threshold

Our fulfillment team operates rapidly to ensure you get your books quickly. If your physical order has already been picked, packed, and handed over to our courier partners (like India Post) before you submit your cancellation request, the order can no longer be cancelled.

If an order has been dispatched, you must wait to receive the package and then initiate a return in accordance with our Refund Policy (note: returns are only accepted for defective items, not for change of mind). You cannot refuse the delivery at the doorstep to force a cancellation.

4. Custom Services (Pencil Sketches and Artworks)

4.1 The 12-Hour Grace Period

Custom commissioned artworks are intensely labor-intensive and entirely bespoke. Once you upload your reference photographs and pay for a custom monochrome pencil sketch, our artists schedule time to begin your portrait.

You may cancel a custom sketch order and receive a full refund (minus a nominal 5% payment gateway fee) strictly within 12 hours of placing the order.

4.2 Commencement of Work

After the 12-hour grace period has elapsed, it is presumed that our artist has procured the specific materials needed and commenced the preliminary sketching phase. Once work has begun, the order becomes entirely non-cancellable and non-refundable, as the time and artistic effort invested cannot be recovered.

5. Cancellations Initiated by Global Emitra Shop

While rare, there are specific scenarios where Global Emitra Shop reserves the right to unilaterally cancel an order without the customer's prior request. If we cancel your order, you will be notified immediately via email, and a 100% full refund will be processed.

5.1 Reasons for Unilateral Cancellation

• Stock Depletion: A sudden unavailability or out-of-stock status of a physical book that was not accurately reflected on the website due to a caching error.
• Pricing Errors: Detection of a glaring typographical error in the pricing of a product (e.g., a ₹500 book listed for ₹5 due to a system glitch).
• Fraud Prevention: The transaction is flagged as highly suspicious, potentially fraudulent, or unauthorized by our payment gateway's security algorithms.
• Unserviceable Location: The shipping address provided is incomplete, invalid, or located in a restricted zone where our courier partners cannot deliver.

6. How to Submit a Cancellation Request

Do not rely on social media messages (WhatsApp, Instagram) for urgent cancellation requests, as these channels are not continuously monitored for administrative tasks.

To officially request a cancellation for an eligible physical or custom order, you must immediately email our support desk at rohitkumarrk2604@gmail.com with the subject line "URGENT CANCELLATION - Order #[Your Order ID]".

Please include a brief reason for the cancellation in the body of the email. Our team will review the timestamps and the current processing status of your order to determine if the cancellation can be approved.

7. The Refund Process for Cancelled Orders

If your cancellation request is successfully approved within the permitted timeframes, our team will initiate the refund process immediately.

• The refunded amount will be credited back exclusively to the original payment method used during the transaction (Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking, etc.). We do not offer cash refunds or transfers to alternate bank accounts.
• While we trigger the refund instantly, it typically takes 5 to 7 business days for the banking networks to process the transaction and reflect the funds in your account.
